Church on the Beach

To round off our summer of ‘Send us out Sundays’, of Church on the Beach, on Sunday 1^st September TEN people were baptised in the sea at Branksome Chine Beach! From the very young to the ‘a little bit older’ and many in between.

We’ve been getting our feet on the ground in the busiest part of our parish, to meet and love our neighbour, to share the love of God, to have fun, and to grow as we go.

WHO WE ARE

We are an evangelical Anglican Parish Church
in Branksome Park, Poole with worshipping congregations and activities for all ages.
Our aim is to be a welcoming, prayerful, Christ-centred community. A church that cares for each other and the local environment, showing God's love by serving our community and the wider world.
Our purpose is to be Christ-like and point people to Jesus.
Our vision is to be a Christian family of all ages and stages of faith, embracing the local community; a place of faith and hope; a place to grow in discipleship of Jesus; a springboard to mission.

Which service is suitable for me?

If you are unsure which of our Sunday Services may suit your needs, here is a summary of what to expect, although services may be varied without notice:

8am Holy Communion – (BCP) 2nd & 4th Sundays

Holy Communion Service currently without choir or organ.

9:30am Contemporary (Family Service)

A contemporary service with band led worship with childrens' groups in the Church Hall. Café Church Services in the Church Hall on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month.

11am Traditional Holy Communion & Morning Prayer

With organ led worship. Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays.
