Do you enjoy learning more about Christianity, airing your questions, discussing with fellow seekers for the truth? The Alpha Course is a perfect setting for what can be a transformational experience. A group from All Saints' took part in an Alpha Course run by Saint Mary's Longfleet last summer, and the following describes the experience of one person whose life was changed by this course:

I recently attended a virtual based Alpha Course which was very well presented. It was hosted by St Mary's Longfleet and I was helped a lot by being in a group led by Eva and James from our All Saints Church.

The weekly format of a brief introduction and a video followed by a discussion group led by Eva and James was very professional and yet relaxed and very enjoyable. I was able to learn about the Bible and Jesus and felt relaxed about asking the very basic of questions as I have not really studied this for over 45 years since leaving school. The course and the follow up support from All Saints' has enabled me to rediscover Christianity.

I am now attending a Bible Studies evening once a week with Eva and James and some other Alpha Course attendees which is helping us all build on the Christian Fellowship from the course.

We will be running this course in All Saints' starting in January meeting with others across Poole. We will hear short presentations, followed by breaking in to smaller groups for discussions, thanks to the wonders of Zoom. If you think you might like to take part in this, but are still not quite up to speed with Zoom, do please call the church office who can arrange for someone to come and help you get on board.
